Help, I need somebody ...
Actually, all these beetles needed somebody, as they all seemed to crash-land onto the floor outside my house. Then the aerobics kicked in. It was great to watch these tiny little beetles struggle to flip themselves over and then scurry off extremely quickly. Until tonight I had never spotted one. Lots arrived today. This species has very distinct legs. It has pointy forelegs for burrowing and broad, stumpy hind legs for additional power.
Order: Coleoptera (beetles)

And now the fun starts, using his wings/casings to flip himself over, turning as he tries.
... and finally success.
Here's another specimen from above, also a little darker in colouration.
