Another home invader ...

Probably the most commonly encountered spider at home is this one. The tend to live high up near the ceiling and make small webs. You'll often see them quivering violently. No idea why. They lay eggs and keep them in a ball, which looks like a polystyrene ball from out of a beanbag. They are also rather fast movers for such clumsy-looking things.
