Termite's the night for love ...

About a week ago, I was invaded once again by lots of termites. This time, however, they were very small and extremely quick at moving. They started at the bottom of the wall, ran up quickly and then began to run down again. Strangely, as they ran others latched onto their abdomen with two short antennae at the front. They then ran down the wall together as their wings fell off. I'm not sure if (or how) they had started copulating at this stage. However, I'm sure this is how they get their partners.

Order: Isoptera (termites)
Family: Unknown
Vernacular name: Unknown
Scientific name: Reticulitermes flavipes (possibly)

Now, one attaches to another (the first is now wingless)

... and this is how they ran down the wall and disappeared together.
