A 'cocky' little click beetle ...

On my travels around Thailand in search of dragonflies, I have come across many interesting-looking and highly-colourful beetles. I didn't expect to spot my favourite and oddest-looking one on my wall. Without the antennae, this 1-inch bug looks like a simple click beetle. Yet, look at photo 2 and it looks like a cockatoo proudly displaying its crest. No idea why this click beetle has them, but I think they look amazing.
